The aqueduct that got it's name from Gens Lulia in honor of Augusto, even though it got it's name form Gens Lulia , it is not yet officially considered, it was constructed by Agrippa in 33 a.C. Getting water from the source of the zone of Tuscolana near Tepula. It is identified with the one that can be found near the bridge of Squarciarelli, up of Grottaferrata. The duct, staring at a certain point, flowing together with Tepula in an underground tunnel purposely restructured, that gave origin to the modern toponyn of Formagrotta, until the piscina limaria which is in VII miles of via Latina, in the zone of the present Capannelle. From here , it is divided by Tepula, the mirror of Giulia continue for about 528 yd. ( 784m) until 6472 yd. (about 9,600 m) on the arch of Acqua Marcia which is properly reinforce with "bandings" in other words restructured. In the sections that still resisted you could see clearly the three canals overlapping in chronological order: in the bottom Marcia, in the center Tepula ,on the top Giulia.
