Tour guide
RomaOnLine is proud to provide an English guide to the beauties of Rome. The
historical and renowed fountains and basilicas are not the only treasure that
it is possible to visit in town: there is such a noteworthy concentration
of masterpieces in the center and in sorroundings that it is almost impossible
to illustrate about them all.
The major and more prominent remainings come from the Roman times, the Renaissance
and the baroque XVII century; nevertheless, there some interesting productions
from the Liberty style of the first 900's and from the 30's.
The site includes descriptions about some specific monuments, churches and villas
as well as introductory texts for topics of interest.
If you plan to visit Rome, do not forget to read our pages to get aquainted with
the history and arts of the city. Consider this tourism guide our homage to
this wonderful place.
